Just a casual bbq dinner; pants are optional.

Wesley started some solid food a couple weeks ago (first solid was rice cereal on 6/24/12, then applesauce on 7/6/12, followed by oatmeal on 7/10/12).  Tonight: his first taste of sweet potatoes.  He shocked me by eating the whole container in one sitting.  This boy was definitely ready for solids so we'll keep them coming!

July 4th

Cousins Chris and Andy were in town for the week, and they accompanied Uncle E, JJ and me to the fireworks show at Auditorium Shores.  This was JJ's first fireworks show and I was a little worried the noise would bother him or he'd turn into a monster from staying up so late.  But he ended up doing pretty well!  He had fun dancing to the symphony music before the fireworks started, and then during the show he helpfully kept telling us to "Look! Look!" at the fireworks.

A few days later we had dinner at Eric and Jess's and got cute pictures of Wesley with the cousins.
