Wesley's hospital stint

What started as a seemingly innocent clogged tear duct turned into dacryocystitis - infection of the tear duct. Poor little Wes had to be admitted to the children's hospital so he could get IV antibiotics. We stayed there for 3 nights. On the third day he went under general anesthesia so he could have a "probe and irrigation" procedure to open his tear ducts (both eyes). Scary to have him go under but he was a champ and did great! It's pretty amazing how his eye went from looking like he got beat up to almost normal in just a few days. You can see the progression in these video clips taken by Grandma. Wesley is now as good as new!
